4 days cruise to Thailand via Langkawi By Shirl
シンガポールの友達Ｓｈｉｒｌが1月に3泊4日のプーケット、ランカウイクルーズに行ったときのお話です。
クルーズ代金はシンガポール発で1人500シンガポールドル、ツインのお部屋だったそうです。
最近ＨＩＳなどでもシンガポール発の短期クルーズを紹介していたので、参考にと思いました。
彼女もこのＨＰ読みたいとのことなので、原文のままです。すみません。
These are the photoes Syki and I took when
we went for our cruise to
Thailand via Langkawi back in January 2001.
It was a 4days-3nites cruise, which we stopped
over at Phuket on the second
day evening, and Langkawi on the third day.
It was a relaxing one...
The first one was taken when we were taking
a small boat, setting off from
our cruise to Phuket Island.
You could see the background is the giant
Super Star Virgo Cruise.
You and Kazu really need to give it a try.
We did not do much in Phuket, as the time
we reached there was already
evening (about 5pm)

The seocnd photo shows you the beach there.
We only managed to enjoy our Thai buffet
dinner, bought some souvenirs, and
had some sight-seeing.

The third one was taken at the port after
we finished our day tour in Langkawi.
You could see there were bags of souvenirs
and food behind me, hee...

Well, despite the shopping, Langkawi is practically
a Malay village (almost
90% of population there are Malays), with
less than 50,000 residents in total.
The place is very much developed just for
the sake of tourism.
In general, if i were to be a foreign tourist
who loves diving or swimming,
I would go for the choice of Langkawi instead
of Phuket. The latter one is very much "culturally
polluted" I could sense many foreigners,
hanging out every where, with different "purposes".
I could not feel the peace of mind while
travelling on the island.
Whilst Langkawi, I feel I am able to wander
around with less fear, as the people there
"look" kinder and less harmful.
Well, syki will sure tell you that I am someone
who judge the outlook very much to the extent.
Can't help it though, perhaps Ｉ am pro-Malaysia.

Last but least. Syki and I requested someone
on the cruise to take a photo for us.
It was well taken, yeah.
Overall, my colleague who saw the photoes
claimed that they have very good
resolutions. A bnuch of quality photoes??!!
Should thank syki for that. hee.
